A Long-Lost <i>Eagle</i> Article Puts Walt and Jeff on the Map
This discovery article sheds new light on the extent of Walt Whitman\u27s continued involvement with the Brooklyn Daily Eagle in the late 1850s. It discusses the thematic and stylistic similarities between a newly discovered piece on the Brooklyn waterworks and other Walt Whitman works. It also raises several questions regarding previously accepted ideas about Walt Whitman\u27s journalism
